Benefits
You will receive a photo and background of the child you sponsor. Your firm logo will appear on all promotional materials. Partnership with others major institution as Orange County and the University of Central Florida. Coverage of sponsorship in a media ralease. Donation is tax deducible as Legal Services Clinic is a 501 (c) (3) Organization.
The experience
Your child will be taught by a professional teacher and by attorneys who work at the Legal Services Clinic. The camp is designed to teach students how laws are passed and implemented. There is no other program like this in Florida. A mini law school designed for ages 13-17
COURSES
- The U.S. Constitution.
- Balance of power and separation of power.
- Roles of Judiciary, Legislative and Executive Branches.
- Site visits to Courts houses, Legislative bodies, Police Headquarters, and Law Schools.
- The week will divided into 4-days for instruction and 1-day for a field trip.
- Final camp activity-Mock legislative session.
